House of the Father is a conceptual Fashion runway show. Designed by Jayden Spendiff under his brand “Dira,” and produced by Connor Mckissock under his company “Neskha.” Hosted at the Cathedral of St Paul in Pōneke, Wellington.

House of the Father is a community project at heart. Collaborating with The Sustainability Trust, to supply the fabric for 20 looks in total, the collection is crafted from abandoned and repurposed textiles.

House of the Father is conceptually built from Anglican history and references, depicting the people of the time. Moving into a more personal interpretation of religion and spirituality. The purpose being to bring the audience through history and power, then, revealing something underneath it all.
